Firstly I’d like to say thank you to all the comments and feedback I’ve been receiving recently I really appreciate it.
All the comments mean so much to me, I really can’t believe that people are reading my poetry and enjoying it! So thank you.
If you post a question on any of my poems about the topic I will reply to it, just not by writing another comment because for some reason blogger doesn’t like letting my write comments on here, so if I don’t reply straight away please don’t be offended!
QUESTION TIME!
dirtycowgirl asked me the question “Just wondering if it's wrote from experience?” on my poem ‘Forever an Addict’
This poem has been written slightly from experience I have known many people become addicted to many different kinds of drugs (including alcohol) and I was using their experiences to put this poem together. I decided to write it from the first person perspective as I thought it would have more impact this way. I’ve never smoked a cigarette or taken drugs (I do drink alcohol) because I’m too aware of the consequences and how easy it is to become addicted to them.
Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate you reading my work!
