It's time to decorate the Christmas tree
With all the festive things people love to see
From the fairy lights
Twinkling so bright
To the star on the top
Glittering in the window making people stop
Baubles red, gold and green
Shiny and bright so that they can be seen
Ornaments hanging from the branches
Catching the light as it twinkles and dances
Tinsel twisted around the tree
Framing everything that you can see.
