Poem: Homeless

Standard

Cold and lonely
I know for sure he won’t be the only
No bed or food
Is it a wonder he’s in such a bad mood
Passersby narrowing their eyes
No words pass their lips, not a hello or goodbye
Rejected by society
Not trusted with any responsibility
Neglected and alone
Without a shelter to call home
Roaming the street
Trying to survive in the extreme heat
With one companion, man’s best friend
Just to live, every law he has to bend

Written one like this before… what do you think?
