Poem: It’s A Lie That I Fear

I’ll always be beside you
In whatever you go through
Our love will last
Forget the past
I’ll give my hope to you
And long for the day you do to

Say you’ll be there
Say that you care
I need to know
As you never let your feelings show

Is it me that you need?
Is it me that you long for?
Is it me that makes your heart soar?

Just tell me the truth
Even if it’s not the words I want to hear
It’s a lie that I fear
