Poem: Words For A Mother

Everything that I am
Everything that I will be
Everything that I have been
I because of a mother’s love deep within
Teaching me everything
Telling me to make the most of what I have
A mother, daughter bond,
So strong
An unbreakable love
A guiding angel sent from the skies above
If ever I’m down
You always find a way to make me smile
Never have you let me down
So many memories to make me smile every once in a while
Never would there be a way
To thank you for what you have done for me
So these few words are a way to soy,
A thank you for the love you have given me,
The things you have taught me,
And the mother you are to me

Music plays in my head like a movie
You’re the soundtrack to my life
It’s never going to be easy
But you’ve always been around to save me
Now you’ve caught me just before I fall
You hand grips mine
Taking small steps
Don’t know who I’d be without you
Your face decorates my dreams
Your hand guides me down the street
My heart won’t beat without you
I can’t take a breath without you

Take a step back,
See who you’ve made me
Take a step beside me,
See now your guiding me
Take a step in front,
See your going now
