Poem: Time To Come Clean

The situations getting old
People are talking, things are being told
I know I should have walked away
But it was my heart that strayed
Played games with my mind
It was only his love that I could find
You’d decided to head on home
But it was to another I’d decided to roam
One more dance
Captivated by his glance
I know I’ve got to come clean
Especially as so many have seen
Him and me
This situation isn’t right
I can’t take it, I don’t want to fight
But I guess then that’s just fate
When love turns to hate
