Poem: The Truth

You want things to be right
We talk all night
But deep inside
I know we can’t hide
The truth that we want to deny
Like two pieces of a puzzle that just won’t fit
No matter how hard we try
We just can’t lie
It always ends the same way
What we think is right
They know is wrong
We can’t hide the fact we want to deny
